BIOGRAPHY
Mary Hoffmann Profile
I am a lifelong artist, once thinking that I was going to do portraiture for the rest of my life.

Instead, I found my calling, and now work on painting, drawing and taking photographs of cats.

I have been around animals all my life and love them with a passion. I started out in life with my mother's dog Miranda, then moved on to her companion, Patience (also a dog) then Missy. In between Patience and Missy came a gray kitten by the name of Cinders. He was a gorgeous cat and he knew it. Cinders also had to have a companion, so Freddy the three legged cat came into my life.

Freddy was love. He personified it. I didn't know I needed Freddy until he became mine. That was when the real love affair with the feline species began.
I shall also be telling you about Simon and Alex, but first, a bit more about me.
I am a self-taught artist with a bachelor's degree in English Literature. I thought I was going to be a writer, but that fell by the wayside. I came back to art, first throwing all my talents at painting people. Now, I paint furry things.

Many furry things.

My website will be an ever-growing place, so please stay tuned for further developments. And Cats. Lots of Cats.
