Behold, another portrait in the works! I have been busy. I just haven't been busy with the website, much to my shame. I broke out the pastels and the paper and a Jim Croce CD; it was time to get busy. I haven't listened to that collection of songs in so long, and it made things go a little faster during the livestream. I never know if people are going to like what I play, but why should I worry about what they want? This is my corner of the universe, and I want them to see what I do. If they want to get to know me, then they should know that Jim Croce is part of me, as is Pink Floyd, Nina Simone, The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, The Dubliners, Kate Bush (currently on the CD player as I type this), Odetta, The Eagles, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner...the list goes on. Rock 'n Roll does make up most of my music genetics, but there are so many others that I have to put on the player to get those creative juices flowing. To say Jim Croce's voice helped with the progress of this rag doll cat is an understatement. I'm a bit proud of it, to say the least. Will it be in the OC Art Fair competition? I still don't know. I know I should stall for too long. Stay posted!
