You are looking at Artists Loft Pastels, a bit used, smudged and a few broken, but they have been invaluable so far. I can't afford many of the more popular name brands, so these came in handy. Michael's, the ever-popular store for all things artsy and craftsy sells these for a song, and honestly, they do the trick. The wide range of colors they come in do much for my imagination. My leanings are now becoming more abstract, so working on a cat in blues and reds (for example) doesn't seem so far-fetched after all. I'm also appreciative of the fact they have a bit more variety in grays and blacks. Personally I believe each pastel set should have a few grays with which to work, as I like to mute my colors from time to time. The variety of yellows it has too are also nice.

I have another live coming up, so back to it.

Cheers!
